NEED TO SAY......
My brother is and always will be one of the truest souls alive in my eyes. Yeah, I said alive cuz even though physically he was forced out of the cold world. Mr. Wacc, my brother, Potna & Loc could not be soulfully, mentally, spiritually nor emotionally Assassinated by the obstacles of our perdition. Damn Brah, it hurt me that I couldn’t do anything to prevent your death. I know this ain’t no place for any man nor woman.... but understand that you are loved, admired and respected. Yeah, any place is better than here. Pac said it like it wuz “.... time to bury another Brotha nobody cry....”. It’s not that you’re gone – cuz I know you’re in ‘Peace’ now.... It’s how you left; by the hands of those who play God over us, and left us no choice but to get it how we lived – by survival of the fittest. I’ll smile for you, cuz I know that’s what you’d want me to do, but I mourn for your Princess Brah, I wish she could of experienced the passion, love, and ambition that you generated on. The things you taught me, instilled in me, and got me to understand she deserved it more than I...... one day, Brah, you’ll have the opportunity to pick each others thoughts ! August 24th was an helluva day, Brah – I just had to experience some of the pain you felt even though I ain’t come close to it;.... yeah, I know you’re gone, but as long as I’m aliven you’ll be here in my walk, talk, smile and memory. And I know you had much more to accomplish, but get some rest, cuz one day – you’ll be able to get it all done. Just keep me some room in your schedule, ya Digg ! Oh yeah, Heaven looks like an expensive place, huh ? Don’t even trip, cuz word is ‘we get in free, cuz all has been paid for. So it’s on (smile) – Stay up Brah and True.
Halla ! Absolute Love – In Progress – ya Lil Brother – B.P.L. Lil Stien
“Forever we”
Tonight the death bell tolls And sadly it tolls for thee Inside we can not hold The imotion that gush free There is no single soul In the African idiom “WE” So we all bear this load Of this heavy cross of thee.
T. Irving.
Around the world this was just another day for some, but, where I reside it was another day of mourning and anger amongst many other emotions duelling inside of us all. On this day we lost another Brother who stood tall in the face of calamity and mental torture here on Texas Death Row ! Justin C. Fuller was executed and as with any loss his life is mourned, missed and memories cherished by all who knew him whether closely or just in passing ! J-Wacc exemplified the heart of a dignified Blackman as he diligently refused to just “act” like what is going on there in Texas is O.K. - it’s not O.K. and to acceptingly partake in one’s own demise is to willingly give-up and submit ! That is not who J-Wacc is ! He “is” simply because he lives on through all who knew him. All who understand his reason behind his actions ! To many outside this realm it may never make sense but to those of us inside this compound with understanding it’s perfectly clear. In a desolate place such as this “Hope” is easily suffocated and without that one dies spiritually long before the body dies ! To fight on any level regardless of consequences can be enough to “inspire” Hope in another so that no matter the situation one can always push harder to work to help themselves ! This is why J-Wacc actions are relevant because without words spoken his actions delivered a telling message to those of us on Death Row - and that is no matter what : “Never Give-up !”. |
