HOPE AND JUSTICE

Is a small association founded at the request of two friends on Texas Death Row : Justin Fuller (executed in August 2006) and Carl Brooks (whose death-sentence was commuted to a life-sentence in 2007).

Our goal is to support a small number of inmates, mentally and financially. Unfortunately we don't have enough money to help them all and therefore we have chosen to help only some of them but in a decent way.

We help them finding pen-pals, we send them books and magazines to break the monotony of everyday. To enable them to communicate with the outside world we buy them stationary and supplies. In winter we send them thermal clothes.

We ask people on our mailing list to send them a card for their birthday and Christmas.

We would be very happy if you could join us in our effort to make our inmates' life a bit more human.

Carl Brooks has written a book relating his story when he left Death Row after being resentenced to 40 year—life. You can order this book for 5€ (+ postage).
